AmCraft manufacturescustom low level soft wall cleanroom curtains that are designed to hang from the ceiling to the floor. A valance is installed to allow the curtains to retract, and when closed, still hold a tight seal. This valance helps to limit outflow from the inside and prevents infiltration to the enclosed space at the ceiling level. The air filtration system can be installed either free standing or suspended from the ceiling of an existing building.

To enclose a smaller area in a large warehouse, a vinyl ceiling utilizing retractable curtains creates a tighter workspace for a concentrated area and limits what flows inside and outside of the space.

Warehouse Curtains

In this example, a large warehouse space is sectioned off to limit small dust particles from contaminating other products in the warehouse. This large section houses it’s own specific filtration and temperature control systems. Strip Curtain Doors allow easy access while maintaining the integrity of the inside controls. The valance is mounted to the ceiling and made to fit around existing hardware.

Insulated and Acoustic Curtains

AmCraft manufactures insulated curtains used as refrigeration panels that maintain temperature controls to 40°F (22°C). Our sound barrier acoustic curtain panels absorb reverberations, industrial machine noise and other dangerous high decibel sounds. Used as in-plant sound proof curtains & enclosures, heavy machine enclosures, and airboirne, impact noise barriers. AmCraft acoustic curtains are manufactured for soundproofing with an inner layer of mass loaded vinyl for maximum blocking out of noise in a confined space.

Deck Foam Filler Sections

AmCraft provides deck foam filler sections to further maintain a tight, airproof barrier between our track and curtain sections and your corrugated roof deck ceilings.

When used in conjunction with AmCraft’s double track valance and bar joist filler panels, these custom foam filler strips seal the concave recesses in the interior/underside of a corrugated commercial building roof/deck. The deck filler and curtain system eliminates leaks at the ceiling level, creating a tight or complete seal.

Air Filtration Systems

Cleanrooms are generally not a completely sterile environment, with more attention given to airborne particles than surface particles. Some cleanroom systems are used to only control the humidity to low levels, provide temperature consistency or to create a workspace of anti-static air. In some cleanrooms where the standards of air contamination are less critical, the entrance to the cleanroom may in-clude strip curtain doors or solid panel doors with Velcro or magnetic closures. In more tightly controlled cleanrooms, a separate room is added to the production cleanroom to act as a decontamination station. Most softwall cleanrooms operate as positive pressure enclosures, using filtration units that generate clean, anti-static air in consistent measurements and temperatures within the enclosed space. The air entering a clean room from the outside is filtered to exclude dust, and the air inside is constantly re-circulated through high efficiency particulate air HEPA filters. Some cleanrooms require a negative pressure containment area that pushs out all the room air and removes the contaminates from the space using ultra low particulate air ULPA filters.
