At AmCraft, we receive a number of inquiries from private citizens who contact us for curtains needed for personal use. Often they are looking to divide a work space in their garage because they want to heat half of it so they can work on projects during the winter. Other customers may have a workspace in their basement and their spouse hates how it looks. In which case, they want to divide it off so the workspace is visually blocked and physically separated in some way from the rest of the space.
The major misconception is that because the curtains are designated ‘industrial curtains” the aesthetic or cost would not be suitable for a customer who wanted them for personal use. However, the fact that the curtains are industrial can be a benefit, as they are inherently easy to clean because of the industrial quality vinyl fabric used to construct them. The everyday hobbyist who works on cars or does woodworking and wants to contain the dust, dirt and debris from their projects in a designated area, can easily maintain their industrial curtain by wiping it down. They don’t have to deal with the hassle of removing the curtains and machine washing them every time they complete a project.
